Tourist Event: 50th Annual Hike through the Krompašské Hills

The Department of the Slovak Tourist Club AC Lokomotíva Bane Spišská Nová Ves invites you to the 50th Annual Hike through the Krompašské Hills.

Meeting Point: June 13, 2026 (Saturday) at 7:00 AM at the Spišská Nová Ves train station Departure: at 7:15 AM by train towards Margecany - with a transfer to the train towards Gelnica town

Route: Gelnica town station - Klimo viewpoint - Ku Buku - Sharp Peak - Gábor's lodge - Klippberg - Miners' Peak - Krompašský Peak - Plejsy, saddle - Plejsy, lodge - Krompachy

Movement: on foot Difficulty: challenging Ascent: 670 m Descent: 624 m Distance: 13.60 km Travel Time: approx. 5 hours.

Note: The participation fee is €4 - it includes stew, a participation certificate, and a hiking badge. There will be a cultural program at the stadium under Okruhlisko from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Only members of the KST AC LB SNV with a membership card and valid sticker for the year 2026 are insured during the hike. Each participant attends the hiking event at their own risk and is responsible for their safety and behavior in nature.
