The main theme of the play Face from the Billboard is the power of marketing and the superficiality of a society that decides to give space to empty, media-manufactured faces, while real human values remain in the background. The author reflects on the current era through the environment of media and marketing strategies, where faces without content are routinely manufactured to control society.

Two value systems confront here: on one side the world of image, where form is more important than content, on the other the belief that the unassuming message of an ordinary, yet honest person can shake the others "more than a charismatic face without content. This conflict is significantly manifested in the tension between the agency that claims that the face sells more than the idea, and the character Dominik Mravec, whose authenticity and unpretentiousness stir the waters of the media world.

Dominik Mravec is not a self-absorbed character. He reflects on his life and through the billboard attempts to leave a simple, unassuming message – that life can be lived decently and with dignity. It is not a grand or pathetic gesture, but a quiet stance that contrasts with the noisy media reality.

The timeliness of the play raises, in the pre-election period, the question of whether quiet, unassuming decency still has a place in today’s world, which prioritizes external image and superficiality. The play offers the audience space to reflect on the value of an authentic human attitude and the importance of remaining, above all, a decent person.
