Aquapark Tatralandia

Introduction

Aquapark Tatralandia is the largest water amusement park in Slovakia, located in the Liptov region in the Ráztoky district, 2 km northwest of Liptovský Mikuláš city center. It lies on the northern shore of the Liptovská Mara reservoir and offers year-round entertainment for all age groups. The park covers an area of 7 hectares and is part of the larger Tatralandia Holiday Resort.

History

The aquapark opened on July 5, 2003, with construction beginning in November 2002. Within its first six months of operation, Tatralandia reached 5th place in the annual ranking of tourist destination visits in Slovakia. Over the following years it underwent several expansions. In 2025, two new Mega slides Duo Race and Flamingo were opened.

For Families with Children

Tatralandia is an ideal destination for families with children. In Tropical Paradise you will find a children's pirate pool with slides and a huge interactive castle. The summer season brings the Amazonia children's pool, numerous children's slides and Bubble City - a complex of inflatable attractions. The area features a metal miniature park, train, carousel and children's corner.

For Couples

For couples, Tatralandia offers romantic relaxation in the Celtic Sauna World with 21 water and massage baths and treatments. In the Wellness Centre you can enjoy massages, wraps and baths. Tropical Paradise with an air temperature of 30°C creates the atmosphere of an exotic resort.

For Enthusiasts

Adrenaline enthusiasts will enjoy 30 water slides of varying difficulty. The most interesting include TORNADO - a rafting slide with a water vortex, RAPIDO and MONKEY SLIDE for high-speed rides, and FREE FALL - the steepest slide in Slovakia.

Practical Information

The aquapark has 14 pools with water temperature up to 40°C. In the covered Tropical Paradise area, the air temperature is maintained at 30°C year-round. The water comes from a well over 2,500 meters deep with a temperature of 60.7°C. Large-capacity parking is available. In summer, city bus line No. 13 runs from Liptovský Mikuláš, in winter a free Ski&Aquabus operates to Jasná.
