Weekend of Open Parks and Gardens 2026

The weekend at the beginning of June will once again belong to parks and gardens as well as other interesting green and historically valuable locations. Slovak parks and gardens are joining the ideas of the international volunteer event Weekend of Open Parks and Gardens for the eighteenth time. Among the participating locations, where an interesting offer awaits visitors, there will also be remarkable parks, gardens, and areas in Spišská Nová Ves and its surroundings this year. The Weekend of Open Parks and Gardens, together with partners, is organized by the National Trust, non-profit organization dedicated to the protection of cultural and natural heritage. More than 120 areas across Slovakia are participating in the 18th edition, which will strive to draw public attention to the beauty of green spaces, their quality, interesting and rich history, the need for their protection, and more.
