Vojtech RUŠIN: Mothers and Their Offspring

Not all mothers have a Sunday full of flowers. Not all children grow up in safety. The photography exhibition by Vojtech RUŠIN, Mothers and Their Offspring, opens stories that deserve our attention. We invite you to its opening – symbolically before Mother's Day, but the strong emotions will remain here much longer. Vojtech Rušin is a significant Slovak astronomer, a long-time scientific worker at the Astronomical Institute of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, and a passionate photographer and traveler who has dedicated his life to researching the Sun as well as capturing people and the world during expeditions across continents. This unique exhibition presents a selection of photographs of unique and powerful moments of humanity – especially mothers and their children in various, often challenging life conditions, which he captured during his journeys to 61 countries.
