Rohalská vareška / Jánske ohne

The Rohalský Sports Club invites you to Novoveská Huta for a family event - the 5th edition of the Rohalská vareška cooking competition.

Rules: the competition team must consist of representatives from at least 3 generations (e.g., grandparent, parent, and child). They do not have to be members of the same family; friends, neighbors... can cook as well. But 3 generations! The basic ingredients of the cooked dish must be potatoes and flour - meaning traditional Spiš/Slovak dishes (halušky, džatky, pirohy...). The winner will be the team with the highest number of votes from participants.

In addition, you can look forward to various games and competitions for children and adults, a foam show, a tombola, and in the evening, a traditional bonfire and DJ.

PROGRAM:

• from 14:00 cooking competition Rohalská vareška - for a fee of €2, you have the opportunity to taste all the specialties and vote for the one you like the most, which also enters you into the tombola drawing. - from 14:00 accompanying program: inflatable giraffe, firefighters, DJ, horse-drawn carriage rides, etc. - from 16:00-17:00 competitions for children and adults, wreath weaving - the bonfire will be lit after dark, around 22:00.
