Professional lecture as part of the accompanying events to the current exhibition "Return After a Century: The First Hunting Exhibition in Slovakia in the Original Building", presented by Ing. Jozef Bučko, PhD. The lecture will include discussions with experts and a musical performance by the trumpeters of the District Hunting Chamber of Poprad.

• HUNTING TRADITIONS FOR LITTLE HUNTERS / educational activity for school groups

An educational activity for all curious children who want to explore the secrets of the forest and hunting traditions – as an accompanying event to the exhibition "Return After a Century: The First Hunting Exhibition in Slovakia in the Original Building". Together we will view the hunting exhibition, learn to recognize animal tracks and breeds of hunting dogs, and discover how hunters protect nature and animals in the forest. The event complements the ongoing hunting exhibition and offers an opportunity to understand the world of nature through experience, play, and creativity. • HUNTING CHILDREN'S DAY / cultural event for the public
June 27, 2026 / Saturday / 13:00 – 17:00
During Children's Hunting Day, the museum will transform into a living forest full of discoveries. Children will try to recognize animal tracks, peek into the secrets of hunting equipment. The Children's Hunting Day will include knowledge quizzes about nature, recognizing tracks of forest game, hunting traditions, a presentation of hunting customs – trumpeters from the District Hunting Chamber of Poprad, a competition in attracting game, demonstrations of hunting dogs at work, and falconry demonstrations. We will meet experts who will playfully introduce us to the lives of forest animals.
The event is intended for families with children and everyone who wants to spend a pleasant day connected with nature and hunting traditions.
Children's Hunting Day is an accompanying event to the exhibition "Return After a Century: The First Hunting Exhibition in Slovakia in the Original Building".
– Admission to the event in the museum area is free, admission to the museum for both exhibitions (entire museum): €8.00 / adults; €5.00 / children, students, disabled persons; children under 6 years free, €16 / family ticket
