LINK(Y)

The ODKAZ(Y) program represents the traditions of the Liptov region intertwined with the history of the city of Liptovský Mikuláš, with an emphasis on tanning craftsmanship and significant figures from the Mikuláš factory and tanning family lines – Lackovci, Žuffovci, Stodolovci, and Pálkovci.

Based on snippets from their life stories, the villages of the region are artistically and scenically connected, from which residents came to the city for work, bringing along their traditional culture, customs, and dance expressions. The program thus creates a vivid image of the relationship between the city and the countryside, work, and cultural identity.

The folklore group Váh received the highest award at the national qualifying choreography competition LANGUAGE OF DANCE in the category of composed scenic authors' programs in 2025 and became a LAUREATE of the competition among 17 groups from all over Slovakia.

Through this artistic activity, the FS Váh joins the celebrations of the 740th anniversary of the first written mention of the city of Liptovský Mikuláš and offers the program to the general public.
