Longital Concert

The Center for Independent Culture CHYŽA CNK invites you to a concert by the band Longital.

A staple of the Czech-Slovak alternative scene, playful and constantly experimenting Longital comes to present their 14th studio album Krajina beží dolu vlastným brehom (Slnko Records). The new release offers an intimate and experimental sound journey – from acoustic instruments to electronic layers to the unique voice. The lyrics open up space for inner questions of existence, joy, and transience, and the album is an invitation to pause, listen undisturbed, and return to what is essential.

For 25 years, Longital has been known for their original combination of poetic lyrics, the charismatic singing of Shina, bass lines played with a bow, and the unique guitar of Dan Salontay. The duo has performed on stages worldwide from Europe to the USA and Canada, SXSW in Austin, and tours with the Irish The Frames and the Oscar-winning project The Swell Season of Glen Hansard & Markéta Irglová.
