Graffiti Villa Nova 2026

The Graffiti Villa Nova project continues to support subculture and modern visual art - Graffiti in the town of Spišská Nová Ves, whose main goal is to find legal spaces, support graffiti artists, and create street graffiti galleries in public spaces. The project builds on the years 2016 - 2025, during which unique year-round graffiti galleries were successfully created in collaboration and under the auspices of the Town of Spišská Nová Ves and in cooperation with MKC Spišská Nová Ves.

This project will continue with the realization of additional exterior spaces in the Mier housing estate - retaining walls near garages, towards the gardening area and airport, J. Wolker Street - on a year-round legal graffiti wall. Approximately 40 graffiti artists/writers will participate in the realization on an area of more than 400 m².

Timeline: May 29, Friday - wall preparation - substrate; warm-up at Cmava's hut May 30, Saturday - main day / graffiti jam from 10:00 painting May 31, Sunday - main day / graffiti jam from 11:00 painting
