Introduction of the locomotive E499.2024 into historical operation

The OZ Railway Club Tatran, in collaboration with the Foundation for the World of Railways, Czech Railways, the Railway Museum of the Slovak Republic, and the Railway Company Slovakia, invites you to an important event - the introduction of the electric locomotive E499.2024 into historical operation, which will take place on Thursday, June 18. EVENT PROGRAM: In the morning hours, a special locomotive photo train will be dispatched from Liptovský Mikuláš via Štrbská Ramp to Svit and back. After the return of the locomotive to Liptovský Mikuláš, its ceremonial presentation will take place at 10:00 at the 1st track on the left side of the Liptovský Mikuláš train station building, along with other new additions to the historical collections. Subsequently, a ceremonial express led by the locomotive E499.2024 will be dispatched to Spišská Nová Ves and back. The train will require a reserved seat, and reservations can be made through the booking form on the website www.klubtatran.sk/ares

Boarding and disembarking will only be possible at the stations: Liptovský Mikuláš, Štrba, and Spišská Nová Ves. The standard return fare (over 6 years old) is €10.
