Day of the Municipality of Markušovce 2026

The Municipality of Markušovce invites residents of neighboring municipalities and towns to the Day of the Municipality of Markušovce 2026, which will take place on Sunday, May 31, 2026.

A full-day program for all generations is prepared in various locations of the municipality – in the English Park, French Park, at Markušovce Castle, in the manor, Dardanelles, and at St. Michael's Church.

Visitors can look forward to horse races in the English Park, a historical and family program, sword fighters, falconers, a period camp, living statues, puppet theater, fairy tales, accessible historical sites, gastro zones, sales booths, and an evening concert by the Kandráčovci band, which will start at 7:30 PM in the French Park.

Discounted tickets are available in advance at the Markušovce Municipal Office during office hours. The pre-sale ticket price for guests is €15 for adults and €8 for children. On the day of the event, the entrance fee will be €20 for adults and €10 for children. A child under 6 years accompanied by an adult has free entry.
