ATHMOSTREDa - MORENA BAND

Multi-genre concerts in the heart of the historical center of Kežmarok. MORENA is a new musical formation by musician Andrea Bučko and actress of the Slovak National Theatre, Dominika Kavaschová. It was created based on the show of the same name, which they wrote together with Matúš Kvietik for the Slovak National Theatre in 2018. After the success of the songs in this show, the girls decided to form a joint band and release an album with songs not only from the show but also from their new joint creation that emerged during the "corona isolation" period. Andrea focuses more on music creation and Dominika on lyrics, but as they say, they occasionally jump into each other's territories. They perform in a chamber setup together with drummer Ema Kakarová, but also in a richer ensemble together with a group of their university classmates, OJV band. Their music carries a lot of humor but also has its tender lyrical side, typical of Andrea's songwriting. Duration of the event: 60 minutes Year of production: 2026 Local premiere date: July 15, 2026
