About Nerast: The Slovak collective Nerast brings to Slovakia the socio-ecological-economic concept of Degrowth (EN) / Décroissance (FR), which critically questions the endless economic growth on a planet with limited resources. Degrowth points out that today's economic system systematically exceeds ecological limits while deepening social inequalities. Nerast proposes a transformation of the economy toward a system where human needs, dignified living, and consideration for the environment are paramount.
