AMFO 2026 - Vernissage

Vernissage of photographs from the regional round of the national progress competition and exhibition of amateur photography

The Spiš Cultural Center and Library invites you to the vernissage of the best photographs from the regional round of the AMFO 2026 competition. A total of 69 authors with 144 photographs progressed to the regional round of the Košice region. For the 54th edition, the recommended theme was “Freedom”. The result of the selection by the expert jury is a collection of 77 photographs, which will be part of the exhibition.

The event’s program will begin at 15:30 with a lecture on the topic “Black and White Photography”, led by documentary photographer Martin Dubovský. At 16:30, there will be a review seminar, during which authors will be able to consult their competition photographs with the expert jury. The highlight of the event will be at 17:00 with the vernissage of the exhibition combined with the ceremonial awarding of prizes to the awarded authors.

The exhibition will last until 17th August 2026.
