21st Annual Run at the CHATTER BY THE GREEN POND

The Run at the Chata by the Green Pond is designed and suitable primarily for enthusiasts, sports lovers, and for amateur as well as professional athletes. For all those for whom movement in nature brings a greater sense of happiness and where sporting activity becomes a part of their life's journey. Our aim is to allow everyone with a similar life philosophy to experience our course of the Run at the Chata by the Green Pond during their journey.

Thanks to the members, supporters, and sponsors of the Alkan Mountain Sports Club, since 2005, an event has been regularly organized on the second weekend of June, which memorializes Karel Jakeš, one of the best Czech-Slovak mountaineers of the 1980s and the first chairman of the Alkan Club, who tragically lost his life in this area due to an avalanche. Just as Karel Jakeš united all sports activities as an individual, this run brings together all groups of athletes, runners, climbers, skiers, mountaineers, cyclists, and ski mountaineers into one whole, into one sporting personality.
