St. George's Church

St. George's Church is located in Sobotské Square in the center of the Poprad district - Spišská Sobota. Spišská Sobota is a very beautiful urban heritage reserve with exceptionally well-preserved historical architecture. St. George's Church is accessible to the public during the summer tourist season, complete with guided tours, and throughout the year, regular worship services are held there. St. George's Church, dating back to the mid-13th century, is the oldest building in the square of Spišská Sobota. Some fragments of the original late Romanesque church have been preserved - the southern portal, the surrounding walls of the nave, and the square tower.
